Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance ripoff, thieves, mobile home over half paid for and threatening to forclose Maryville Tennessee
We purchased our mobile home in 1998. It's over half paid for and they are threatening to forclose. When we purchased our home my husband was an over the road truck driver. We owned our own big truck. He was bringing home real good money. Our big truck blew up and we had to let it go back.
He still drives a truck, delivers locally to Krogers. He brings home about half the pay that he did over the road. We have been 1 to 2 payment behind for awhile. We were starting to get caught up, then our pickup, our only means of transportation blew up.
We had to get a moter and have it put in, causing us to get behind again. They were calling and threatening and we told them what was going on and they said, get this, you need to get your priorities straight. O.K. how do they think my husband is going to make the money to pay our bills without a vehicle to get to work.
If thats not enough last week my husband ripped a big chunk of the bottom his hill causing him to be off work for a week. When they called the other day demanding the 2 past due payments, I told them what happend they said thats not good and hung up.
I have been trying to get a job, but that is hard to do with just one vehicle. I might get to start working next week, but they say they are going to forclose on 6-26-06.
How can they forclose on just 2 payments behind? How can they get away with that? You can not find anybody who will refinance.
They call your parents, your in-laws, and your siblings. And you know if they forclose and take your home, they will sell it for as little as possible just to make you pay the rest.
IS THERE ANY THING THAT CAN BE DONE TO STOP THEM FROM FORCLOSING????
