Warren Buffett also owns Clayton Mobile Homes and 21st Mortgage. I guess his zillions make it easier for him to sleep knowing how many poor people he has fleeced. Warren Buffett isa real worm.

Oakwood (Vanderbilt) settled in a class action law suit in 1997. With American Bankers Insurance, consumers were forced into ileagally purchasing insurance through the Mortgage Company. Oakwook settled the case and all customers were given dues applied to their principle. Garey Belzons vs Oakwood in the district court of Bexar County 288th judicial district N0. 96-CI-06568 Let them know you are aware that thier behavior is fraudulant. File a complaint with your state attorney generals office. What they are doing to you is not only a civil case for you. It is criminal.

I have had the same problem, when Bank One sold my mortgage to Clayton Vanderbilt they apparently sent me a letter which I did not get stating that I needed to show verification of my insurance. The only thing I got in the mail was a bill for 200.00 and some change. I called to advised them that I had insurance and they said to fax them proof. After three times of faxing over proof, I still got the same naggying bill, which was adding 23.00 to each of my monthly payments. Once I finally found someone competent who did get my fax, now I am still looking for my refunds of the past 4 months of paying this extra money because no one there could seem to do their job right the first time. They also told me the first time the $23.00 was due they held my payment until I turned in the 23.00 which made my original payment late. COmpletely not what any paperwork says that I ever got.
