This man seems to have a web site designed to snare unsuspecting customers. It's like the Roach Motel of web sites - - your Sony Playstation units check in for repair, but they don't check out! I had the misfortune of sending my PS2 unit to be modified and repaired by Michael Walker and it seems to have vanished.

Mr. Walker happily charged my credit card and emailed me a shipping invoice soon after showing the charge and list of repairs. That was the ONLY thing I received. I inquired a month and a half later on the whereabouts of my unit. On one email he says he never received it, another one claims he sent it back to me, another one says he is waiting on parts, & finally, another says the unit is beyond repair and blamed the delay of notifying me over a new computer system.

His FAQ site says he will not charge me if the unit cannot be fixed. Why was I charged? I notice the more questions you ask this guy, the angrier he gets and becomes insulting, rude, demeaning, you name it! I threatened BBB action and he responded that he would send me a new unit from his own inventory. I told him I would halt any dispute pending the arrival of the new unit. I even asked if he could provide me with a tracking number once the unit was packaged. I received no reply.

As I expected, this unit never arrived and when I inquired, he provided a tracking number from the USPS insisting he sent the unit. This tracking number is suspicious since it only shows a date and time along with the zip code when entered on the USPS web site. My local post office said the driver for that day recalled no package the size of a PS2 unit being sent to my residence. She would have knocked at the door or rung the doorbell and would not leave the package at the door. They (Post Office) were even stunned at the tracking number showing that date and time since it was too early in the morning to be on my delivery route, which is late morning / early afternoon.

Enough was enough! I took action and notified the BBB, the FTC, and my states consumer protection dept. as well as filing a fraud complaint on the USPS web site. I even had my credit card company reverse the charge for Walker failing to repair the unit I sent in. Man did Walker cry like a baby when he found out about the chargeback!

This guy became foul mouthed, claims he is a law student and threatening me with a libel suit, wants to write a letter to my employer stating I'm a threat as an employee, file a report to a collection agency, calls me a coward and not a man... yadda yadda!

Normally I would believe the unit he claimed he sent was lost in transit but after reading all the other ripoff reports, I have no doubt he found a new scam. Either he has someone in the Post Office in WI doing him favors, or he sends something at random to any address in my zip code just to generate a tracking number. Since the USPS track and confirm feature only shows limited information (never an address), he can claim he sent a package to me. The post office will only initiate an investigative trace if started by the sender. I asked Walker to do this and received no reply!

He scanned a delivery receipt with my name and address on it trying to prove he sent me something but it looked like it was altered with Photoshop or some other manipulative software. This is a scam artist capable of doing all these things I mentioned above! If you go to google and search 'vdo specialties complaint' you can find many disgrutled former victims. When will law enforcement say enough is enough and put this guy behind bars?

Now he wants to use the original contract I signed for repairing the unit I sent as a means to collect on the imaginary new PS2 he claims I received hoping my credit card company will stick me with the charge! Yeah... in your dreams Walker!

Hello all,

I tried doing a favor for my friend John by posting the original complaint you read about VDO. John had no knowlege I did this report but reported this in his name because he felt helpless when he got taken by Walker and does not want others to be prey to this scum bucket. To this day, he does not know who filed the report and he won't for his own protection.
Walker has been reading these reports and it seems his favorite words in the english language are slander and libel.
Well Walker, when you read this I have 2 words for u!! LIBEL THIS you sue-happy M_ _ _ _ _ F _ _ _ _ _!!!
For John's own peace of mind, I apologize for being sarcastic when I said I had no doubt Walker was using a post office scam. It was just that, sarcasm and there is no factual evidence. Everything else is true and I don't wanna apologize to Walker. I apologize to the Post Office for having to deal with that loser out of Wisconsin on a daily basis. John, if you read this, I love you maaan!
