I purchased two (2) "dinner-show" tickets to a Beatles tribute show at the Planet Hollywood Casino through Vegas.com (via telephone). I paid $189.04. I was told by the Vegas.com representative we would be eating at our table in the V.I.P section. Dinner-Show right - you eat at your table. ((Note: I DO NOT have a problem with Planet Hollywood. Planet Hollywood is NOT the issue.))

As it turns out it was NOT a dinner show at all. Rather, when you go to pick up the tickets at the casino you are provided "vouchers" to a nearby restaurant! What is that about? The reality is you eat at a nearby restaurant (using your vouchers) and then go to the show! Is this what you would call a dinner show? I was lead to believe we would be eating at our V.I.P. seating table.

I refused the tickets, did not attend the show and contacted Vegas.com for a refund. I was informed "Dinner-Shows in Las Vegas are not traditional dinner shows." What? ((Note: I've been to literally dozens of dinner-shows in my life and didn't realize there were different types. One for Vegas.com and another for the rest of the world.))

I was further told I could have used my vouchers to eat at a restaurant called  "Cheeseburgers!" What? Cheeseburgers?

I was told no refund would be forthcoming and that I ought to look at my email confirmation to review Vegas.com's refund policy.

The problem with Vegas.com is you don't receive an email until you have ALREADY paid for your reservation. Then, after you have paid, you get the email confirmation informing you the reservation is non-refundable! In my case I was NOT informed the reservations were non-refundable until after I purchased them. And for good reason it turns out.

Had I known ahead of time about the meal vouchers, Cheeseburgers, etc., I would never had made the reservations in the first place.

I then contacted my credit card company and began the "dispute" process. I explained the situation, what I was told by Vegas.com, and what the reality was.

Recently I received a letter from my credit card company informing me Vegas.com said I received the tickets (which I actually refused). Again Vegas.com was untruthful.

Buyer beware of Vegas.com!

I certainly will not be using the services of Vegas.com again.

This was the first time that I have used Vegas.com, and I have to say that I am extremely disappointed. I opted for the 3 nights + hotel promo, which offers the two free show tickets. I will be staying at the Aria and spent around 1000.00 on the total package. After booking the trip, I received an email with no mention of the free show tickets. I called the customer service Rep at Vegas.com, and was first told that i didn't have the correct room for the package, which was later confirmed to be false. So, I was transferred to the main office, where I was told that the last day of my trip fell on a blackout date, which made me ineligible for the free show tickets. I explained to the lady that the reason I had booked through their website was specifically for the show tickets. I have family meeting me in Vegas and 2 free tickets would have been great for the whole family experience. I asked the customer service rep was there anything they could do to makeup for what I felt was false advertising. "No sir" After the money I spent for the package, there is still nothing you can do to make this right. Again she replied "No, Sir". I could have reserved the SUMMER13 Promo through the ARIA, at which Im staying, and gotten a super deal. Needless to say, I will never book through Vegas.com again. Very Displeased.
