Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I got my bill which was a little over $20 bucks. But the lady said my current bill was $500.00 I had to speak with a customer service rep. I logged on to my account to look at the bill, and figured out the problem was I entered a telephone number wrong with my friends and family plan. So okay I have had other problems with kids overages and they helped figure it out. I have been with verizon wireless for atleast 7 years and havent had any problems until now.............We kept going over a little on our plan, and I heard about the merger with alltel and they had a friends and family plan. I asked about it, you could pick ten telephone numbers to set as free calls. I did this, but in doing so one number was entered wrong so instead of 355 I enterd 335. Not sure if I entered it wrong or if it was wrong on the paper I copied it from. Either way it was wrong and when I called the rep spoke with there supervisor and all I got was sorry you entered it wrong, and the big bill. They did give me 35% off, but I won't be able to pay the balance. And I think its wrongful and unethical. So if u have verizon and friends and family plan check your numbers. Even though I have that number on my plan and they can see that we all went over because of the simular number it doesn't matter to them.

So I would like to say...........(insert your choice words)...............

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?

You can't be serious.

You admit you entered the number wrong. Yet because they only give you a 35% discount instead of covering YOUR mistake in full, you still write a report on them. Okay, let's just think about how that really sounds for a few minutes.

how is this a rip off?

I dont see how this is a ripoff. The friends and family numbers are set up and managed competely by you. Verizon cant add or edit them for you. It is unfortunate that you put in a wrong number but that is not verizons fault. You can check and edit those numbers anytime thru your myverizon account. You said you were offered 35%. That seems very fair to me since it was an error on your part not theirs. I know it can be hard to pay for overages-my last cell phone bill was over $300 from overages-but I dont see how this is a ripoff. They offer many ways to keep up with your usage-#min, myverizon, and their 800#.

So how is the the fault of Verizon Wireless again?

Hmm. You clearly admit YOU made the mistake. They don't know what you MEANT to enter, only what you DID enter. This is clearly your mistake and your responsibility. So why should they owe you one thin dime? Alltel would not give you anything. Their policy is very clear: NO adjustments for errors dealing with customers incorrectly entering their My Circle numbers wrong. NONE. So pay attention to what you are doing and stop blaming your mistakes on the company.
