Villa Del Sol Hotel Ripoff, Not at all what they describe Corpus Christi Texas
We tried to book a room online through their website, www.villa-delsol.com. It didn't work, so we called them and made the reservation. They advertise one bedroom condominiums and they were one bedroom alright. Condominiums? That's another statement.
When we checked into our room on 8/6/04, we were shocked. My whole family's mouth dropped open when we walked into a room with old dirty carpet. Worse was the mildew smell that accompanied it. I went into the living room to find a sofa with tears across two out of three cushions. The foam was showing from the rip! There was an iron burn in the carpet in the bedroom and when we opened the sofa sleeper, it had the previous guest's sheets in it! I was completely upset and returned to the front desk to check out. They acted like they didn't know what they were doing, as they took 15 minutes to refund me, in between arguing with another guest over his payment.
We checked out and went to Port Aransas to real condominiums. This place is a trashy hellhole and I would recommend everyone stay away from there.
