apx home alarm vivint home alarm ripoffs provo, Utah
January 20th I had Apx install a home security alarm, Then In September of the same year the pannel froze up and I had the company here to repair it and found out that it had never been working because I had vonage phone service and their system wouldnt work through them so they had to install a reciever box so it would work, So that was nine months That I paid them for services I never had but they wouldnt refund any money to me(amounting to $ 450.00) I was on a five year contract with them. December 10th I opened up an account with a new security company and sent a cancellation notice with vivnt, the company that apx emerged with.Well vivnt called me on the phone and told me I was legally bound to them for two more years, They told me that I did not get my services in 2007 They said it was 2009 so I faxed them a copy of my 2007 contract and they sent me back there copy that said 2009 Thay had changed 2007 to 2009 but I still have my copy and I plan on bringing this to the attention of the better business bureau.I am 73 years old and having hard times, How can they look at them selves in the face cheating me like this. RIPOFFS
