VONAGE IS A SCAM! RIPOFF! DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY, POOR CUTOMER SUPPORT, AND EARLY TERMINATION FEES! Nationwide
Vonage is the worst phone service I have ever had. The echo on the line is unbelievable and don't try to download any files while you are on the phone or you will lose your connection even with the bandwidth of a cable modem. If you try to use customer support, you will be on hold forever and it takes days to get response to emails.
So to make a long story short, they will then charge you an early termination fee of $39.99 for cancelling their service in the first 12 months. I am disputing all charges to my credit card and recommend to everyone not to be sucked in to this scam. Also I will be contacting the FCC in regards to how they can charge for cancelling a service that is poor quality at best, and they do not seem to have a customer support department that is able to help, or care about problems.
