Vonage offers a rebate when you purchase their equipment, usually equal to the purchase price. I purchased their equipment at Best Buy and completed the rebate form online, only to get a card from them stating that the equipment number I gave them was incorrect (I verified - it was correct), and therefore no rebate. The service is quirky and sometimes works but often fails and you need to go through a lengthy process to get it back online. You can't use the computer and the phone at the same time because you will lose one or both. When you call to cancel, they offer free months to get you to stay, When you then call back, they tell you that there is a $40.00 charge to cancel the service, which they bill immediately to your credit card!!! BIG RIPOFF
