This vacation club is complete ripoff. This company purposely misleads its customers wholesale rates on vacation packages, flight, hotel, etc. The first time I realized I got ripped off whas when I allowed my sister to use our membership number in condos in Orlando. She told me she got a better deal with the property on their website. Next I booked a rental through them. The following weekend my husband and I rented a car directly with car company and found the same deal so no savings there. I then asked them to find a cruise. ALL the prices was at lest $700 pp which is absurd because I was finding cheaper prices including tax, port fees, and gratuities. I contacted the company who fed me a bunch of limbo jumbo saying it's impossible for me to find better deals so I asked them to find me flights and hotels in San Juan PR...

I was told they couldn't offer discounted flights which is a direct contradiction of what everyone was told in our seminar. I then found the same hotels they found a so called deal and found lower prices including taxes and fees!!! My husband and I paid over $1500 for their package because this company intentionally mislead us with a deceptive presentation. Complaining to them only causes them to tell more lies that no one should have to stomach. This is not even the name of the company the company was presented a when we went for our presentation. They operate under Travel Services, Discover Vacations, Time to Travel, Voyager Vacation Club, and God knows what else. The web address for Time to Travel doesn't even work anymore. If you see any of these names run in the opposite directions cause it's a true scam!!!!

Still a Rip Off

This defense is pointless. If they are representing a company then that means they believe in a product so yes it's still your company ripping people off. Also the BBB rating means nothing since businesses pay for good ratings. Don't tell me or any other customers that we should take that rating at face value bc companies lie and rip people off just like your company. If you know they sell misleading practices you are just as bad as them. Voyager is a rip off

Discover vacation, time to vacation, time to travel...(what ever you want to call them) are a marketing company. what they do is market for other travel clubs, helping to clubs get people in to see the presentation on the travel services and what they offer. we speak to the people that register and fill out the entry forms for a vacation, letting them know about the presentaion, how to get there, what to bring with them and of course the gift they will recieve for attending..that is it! they do not have to purchase a membership to recieve this gift, that is 100% up to them! what ever the travel club tell these people has nothing to do with the marketing company. Unfortunatly some these clubs stretch the truth and decieve people. The specific VOYAGER club the complaint was about ultimatly did just that and for that im sorry you were a victim of this. but once again the marketing company has nothing to do with the travel clubs, so please dont blame us for another persons wrong doing. Discover vacations LLC is a small buisness that has an A rating with the BBB and is always trying to help with customer complaints the best they can. Rant over! Just trying to the defend the inoccent. - take care.
