I called Netgear about my account.  I advised them that I was charged 13 times for a single transaction.  I was told that it would be resolved and that I would be receiving a full refund.  Rather than receinving a ful refund I was charged again for an additionnal 6 more monlthly payments.   Now  I have been charged a total of 19x for a single payment.  In calling customer service you are first prompted to enter a code. A code which take another 30 minutes to obtain from the website.  I can not simply call the company and tell them that my account has been over charged.  I have to go through 2 hours of red tape in order to get a simple code which isnt even the correct code.  For you see, there are no options for BILLING.  Only TECHNICAL SUPPORT.  I have again spent 2 hours on the phone this morning to try and get the issue resolved  I am told I will have to wait another 2 hours on the phone for a supervisor.  Now I am being told they need my bank account statements showing I was charged when they know good and well I was charged because they clearly see it on their computer. The support person simply is trying to get me off the phone because "It is the end of her shft"  She now comes back to the phone pretending to be a supervisor.  I have to give up, these people are extremely difficult to work with.    THe previous statements were written while I was on hold and speaking with the SCR at VueZone. 

 

So, Simply put, they have charged me 19x for a single transaction and also stated that 13 of those times were signature purchases.  I have never been to San Jose CA and have never signed anything authorizing them to take my money.

The company is very dificult to deal with, there isnt any way to get a bllling issue reolved, you can't review your billing info on the computer.  I have never been so lost trying to deal with someone.  I am afraid now they will take 6 more payments after this phone call which seems to be what's happenin after every call.
