Walk2 "aka" Smart Seo - Search Engine Marketing Firm - Contracted Services - Delivered Nothing - David Joseph at Walk2 ripoff Tarpon Springs Florida
We contracted with Walk2.com "aka" Smart Seo out of Tarpon Springs, FL. We were promised the below listed services in return for our money.
- We were promised in writing - 10 top keywords and a set amount of top ten rankings for two seperate domains. Contract Length - 3 Months at a time (3 x 4)
- We were told that Walk2 had a discount pay per click agreement with Overture, google, etc. The then promised us "3662 Unique" visitors per month to our contracted website. -3 Month contract.

Total Hits From Search Terms 3943 (Total for 5 months) Approx. 788 visitors per month. Should have been 18,318 visitors.
Total cost for three months for this service - 5062.50 per quarter. With a money back guarentee in writing and verbally from Walk2
After 6 weeks we contacted the company - our contact David Joseph. We were sure that the search engine ranking side of the agreement was no where near ready. However the paid inclusion portion was promised to be running in only 2-3 weeks. It was not.
We received a bulls**t e-mail - stating that search engine ranking takes time. We replied and agreed, simply asked again about the "Pay per Click" traffic deal from Oveture, google, etc. We received No Response!
We again e-mailed a week later to get a heads up, we were directed to a log in account at walk2 to review our stats. The stats had tons of number layed out by day 200 here, 100 there, it still did not reach 3662 per month as promised however showed some promise.
UNTIL - We reviewed our hitbox tracking for the domain in question. Our account showed less than 10% of what they showed. Hence we were dealing with inflated numbers.
- We again recieved an e-mail basically telling us this stuff takes time.
Our reply was, "Ok lets see what happens, but we will be requesting a refund if services are not rendered"
We signed the contract on 04-04-04
We have received nothing from this company!
We have requested via e-mail 5 times a refund with no return call (Sent e-mails to every single person in the company website) NO RESPONSE!
This company is listed on the contract as Tarpon Springs, FL however the contract says you will need to visit "Franklin, OH" for any legal disputes.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM - SO MUCH SO THAT THE DID NOT EVEN BILL US FOR THE SECOND LEG OF OUR CONTRACT. THEY JUST KEPT THE ORIGINAL 5000.00 AND DID NOTHING!!!!
Do not do business with this company - unless you like giving away gifts worth 5k a pop.
Any rebuttal this company files is bogus - contact me for the faxed paperwork, contract and copies of the e-mail if you are interested. We will update this posting if these guys are still in business and they step up and refund the money.
