Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have been a firm believer until recently of Walmart money Card had many co-employees get one so direct deposit. My boss using the debit card machine placed $1000 on my card that was about six months ago. Now after fighting with WalMart at there request a letter was sent on June 9 recieved by Walmart moneycard June 2017. It was written as requested. Want to back up 5 months ago talked with someone from the fraud department when I told him I was recording him he hung up. I called back he told me he was recording me as per federal and state law I requested not to be taped. He hung up again. So I call back get someone else so I didn't tell them I was recording the conversation. He told me I needed a letter from my boss stating that he had sent the money and how it was added. They got it! now amonth later still no money now they ask for more documentation, yet they still take the monthly charge off.

Stay away from WalMart and Walmart Moneycard. Put jobs back in Ameica. I will let you know if I ever get my money. I am diabetic my meds are over $1100 a month and they keep taking . I had to go without my meds for a month and a half because of Wal mart moneycard

Even though your card is "reloadable" you can't just put money onto these cards through a machine. It has to go through the AUTHORIZED process. This is either an ACH transaction for Direct Deposit of a Paycheck which is handled through the banks, or you taking the cash and going to Walmart and reloading the card.

What your boss most likley did was initiate a "refund" on a card that no purchase was made. If the card processor ever notfies his bank and, if his bank audits him it is very likely that he will loose his authorization to accept debit/credit cards because of his violation of the terms of use for the machine. His bank could also freeze his accounts and close them down WITHOUT notice due to this violation. In other words just refunding money onto cards is a big NO NO.

Why do you think they want all of this documentation? It isn't because they don't trust that the money is on the card or that your boss actually sent it. They want proof to investigate any possible violations of the agreement or laws that may have occured. If your boss was naive enough to provide them with this proof they will gadly accept it and then kick it up to the IRS or other Federal and State officials. If that happens not only could your boss be in some serious trouble..but you as well. Especially if this is your "wages" and you are NOT reporting them.

You would have been MUCH better off if your boss gave you the cash and you went into Walmart to add it to the card. If you say that he couldn't do that, then that should be all you need to know to verify how legitimate what you were trying to do actually was. If you say that you have done this in the past with no issues..that doesn't make it right. It just means you got lucky you weren't caught until now.
