Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was with this company for 5 years. They were sued in a class action suit several years ago because they secretly attempted to switch the active cards from Visa to MasterCard. Most people no longer had access to their funds, some never regained it. They lied over and over to hundreds of people, then robbed them blind. Over the years I've made who knows how many transactions, recently they stole about $300 from me so I was prompted to closely examine nearly 5 years of transaction history.

What I found was every refund, every canceled purchase to be returned to my account, every single "return" posts as a plus item (deposit) but NEVER posted back to my account...MEANING, they've been pulling the wool over my eyes for years. In total, I managed to find just over $600 that was never returned. They literally stole my money. They have no employees that speak proper English and none of them apparently have any ability to do anything but "put notes on the accounts". They also decided along the years that if you dispute any transaction, they immediately turn your account off permanently and never send a new card.

I've caught them red handed when they told me they sent a new card --- the last four digits can't be duplicated --- they gave me the last four digits and swore the card was sent. Three weeks later I called to inquire. Again, I simply didn't receive it because they promised it was sent. So, they charged me $15 to expedite a new card, warning me that the last four digits are going to differ now. Lo and behold, two days later the card they swore they sent arrived (last four digits the same as the card they lied about sending) via registered mail. No other card arrived. I could go on and on about five years of absolute horror stories I've experienced with Walmart Moneycard. The most recent and final straw was a refund from cancelled items I ordered. The store immediately refunded the card, who is operating as Green Dot (the bank no merchants trust and most decline), with authorization to return the hold. Two weeks have passed, the charge still shows as pending, and no one can put the money back onto the account.

I was given a date the money would be returned, three times by three different representatives...not surprisingly, that date came and went with nothing returned to the card. This is a criminal offense, it's basic theft. In the morning, I'm filing criminal charges with the police then heading to a local attorney (one that sued them in 2016) to get the civil suit started. They've cost me time, money, aggravation, and stress. I would warn ANYONE considering doing business with this company to immediately search other options, as digital banking has become popular and most if not ALL cards today are better than the Walmart Moneycard in nearly every single aspect.

As far as my personal opinion, I believe they cannot be trusted--- ESPECIALLY with personal financial information. I urge you to look at actual cardholder reviews (not the websites who offer their own review because they were ALL paid to do so), you'll easily see that this company is nothing, and I mean NOTHING but trouble.
