If you were desperate and "counting" on the money you wouldn't have filed your taxes 6 months LATE.
I can not be the only person that filed and this happend
- You may not be the only one in the entire United States, but I would bet that the number of people this happened to could be counted on one hand. Because people who are "counting" on the money, and rely on pre-paid debit cards do not file their taxes 6 months late...they file it as soon as they can in January.
I think I should sue and i am not one to think that, It is not right for these large corporations to hold our money for interest.
- A 2-for-1, not only do you want to sue them but you think they are doing this just to make money off of the Interest. So while the way you wrote this report I doubt you ever went past 6th grade let's do some elementary school math.
You didn't say how much you are getting back, but let's say you have a $2,500 refund. With the current Interest rates let's say they are able to get 5% on your money(and that is being very generous). In one month that equates to just about $10 in Interest. If you want to equate that to each day, that is about $0.35. Yea they are really living it up.
