All the consumer needed was a paint stick or anything that had the color on it. The paint tech could scan that color into a computer and mix paint identicle to the color the 6 rooms had already been painted. It's quite possible the original paint was mixed in a different "base" color. Having mixed paint for Montgomery Wards years ago, we occassionally ran out of a base color and would, (after showing the results to customer and getting their approval) mix the color into whatever base we had plenty of in stock - sometimes even using plain white as a base. There would be a slight difference but geeeez, as I said, all you'd need is a chip or a can lid or a spot on your shirt to get a matching can of paint to finish your project... And the consumer obviously liked the first color. He painted SIX rooms with it. I'm sorry but this complaint doesn't have even a scintilla of credibility. Thank you.

Life is not all about constantly saving money. True they may be cheaper but you are keeping a low class company in business that is trying to turn the world into nothing but Wal Mart's. I did not grow up even close to being wealthy, but I certainly did not grow up with that Wal Mart, uneducated, I have to save money every day of my life mentality. I grew up in a small area where we went to the GROCERY store for food, The Hardward store for paint, and the Woolworth's for lower priced items and a great cheeseburger that was homemade at the lunch counter.

i have purchased paint from walmart more than a few times and i learned early on, never buy more paint than you can cover one room with at a time (unless you're painting each room in a differant shade.) The only reason people buy paint from walmart is to save money and that's it. Places like Sherwin Williams, 9Home Depot, which i've found to be not much differant than walmart in the past three years.) and other majors charge a lot more per gallon, and it's still questionable whether the quality is any better. I've had paint, that when you open the can look differant than the pervious can, yet somehow manage to dry the same color.

Perhaps had you noticed 5 1/2 rooms ago that you had the wrong color you wouldnt have been so pissed to begin with Granted they made the mistake of giving you the wrong color to begin with but you made the mistake of going back and getting the same color over and over again Dude if you get the wrong color you should notice that when you open the can

Wal MArt is not a place to buy paint, unless its in a spray can. Go to Sherwin Williams, Lowes, or Ace Hardware. Why would you even waste the time with a store like them?
