I HAVE BONE ON BONE condition in my left knee, and I need to have hyaluronic injections about every 6 months to artificially replace the lost cartilege in the knee.   I was told when signing up for Well Care that I had zero ) co payments and part B of Medicare was also paid for me each month.  Now I am told that these injections cost a co pay of $200 each time.  That comes to $400 a year , and that cuts into the paid part B by $400 of my loss.   Corina at well care 866 - 458 - 9246  called me to advise this, also there is a telephone of 877- 693 - 5236  that I noted from here call at the time.  I have advised Well Care of this situation, finally I was called, and the agent took more information about what they already know very well, and so far , weeks, no one has gotten back to me.

Meanwhile I am walking around, trying to walk around , with this condition not treated because Well Care is denying the treatment at zero co pay that I was promised when I signed up for this company.   Well Care is denying by delay, denying by denial , and doesn't care about my condition at all.   I have read about the huge fines and abuses that this company was given on account of their fraudulent operations in the past, just  google it to see for your self, and obviously not much has changed now.  I still have this verified condition by an orthopedic surgeon,   and it has also been verified to Well Care, who still continues to stall.

I was offered knee replacement surgery and Well Care will pay for that, tens of thousands of dollars compared to waving the $200 minimal cost they want to charge me for the injections of hyluronic material, and that also makes no sense to me.  I do Not Want knee replacement surgery.   I go to a clinic of old people who make a constant parade of hobbling old men and women who have had this surgery and now are virtual invalids, can not bend knees now, can not get down on their knees, and are in constant pain.  That is a horrible surgery, some are using walkers, some wheel chairs, all have also had to have extensive therapy after the operation, and painful.    Horrible.  I can not understand how Well Care can get away with doing this, denying the infections to me at what I was promised, 0 co pays, that is zero co pays,  of $200 but be willing to pay for knee replacement surgery that I do not want nor need .   Insane.  Who is in charge at Well care ?  Does the owner get a huge bonus for all the co pays that come in from people who were told they would have zero cop pays ?

I was told zero co pays.  Not $200 co pay for hyaluronic injections for my knee that is Bone on Bone.

No one at Well Care cares about my condition,  This is not a today issue, it has been going on for almost a year now.

My advice, find another HMO Medicare company that will not scam you with false promises.
