Wellcare of Florida The b******* refused to pay me for the counseling services I was providing to children having Staywell Insurance. Tampa Florida
Wellcare refused to pay me for services I rendered, as a provider, to chiildren under Staywell. I have been in private practice for 20 years and dealt with many insurance companies, none of which has ever cheated me. Wellcare denied every claim (with the exception of some initial visits) giving spurious reasons.
I resbumitted each claim, with the "corrections", only to be denied again, despite the "corrections". Their "appeals" process is meaningless. They owe me thousands of dollars for services I provided. I wouldn't be surprised if they're billing Medicaid for these sessions without paying any of the providers.
I sent certified letters to them, resubmitting each and every claim, only to get the same responses, all of which were lies.This company should not be allowed to be in business!
