we were called and offered a cell phone for 23.00 dollars a month it was a special for 1.95 to set it up. and then transfered to someone to confirm our order.

we refused all of the offers and was told that it was all included in the package. the number that they called from was 866-344-8298. when we tried to call back and cancel the order we could not get thru it would disconnect.

we never received the cell phones. and our account was debited for 79.95 two weeks later. we then started receiving memberships to wellnetamerica, americanvalues.

these are for 7 days trial and then will charge your billing source 99.95 setup charge and then 24.95 a month for each membership.

when you try to cancel the membership they give you the runaround. they will not refund your money they have to send you a check authorization form to get your money back.

after we called and cancelled we got another call saying are number was drawn to receive a phone from T-Mobile it was the same number that called the first time.

Yes, telemarketer might offer different kinds of program in just one call which called an upsell program. During the time when they spoke to a telemarketer about our program they were also offered other programs (referring about the cellphone). The customer agreed with the program of Wellnet when it was offered to him/her. We don't sign up customers automatically in our program. We have customers record in our system because their conversation with the telemarketer has been validated by certain group of people and if customers agreed with the program then the membership will be activated. We are not saying that we will not be refunding the amount that was charge to the customers account, of course we will if customers was really charge. The check authorization form were given to the customers so that they will be assured and will feel assured that the refund will process accurately. Getting the exact amount that was really charge into their account.
