Wells Fargo will pay the largest priced purchase, then charge me $35 for each small purchase. When I called to complain, they said that they would charge me even if I was a penny over! Completely unreasonable and I believe that it is illegal. If anyone has a class action lawsuit agains Wells Fargo then contact me because I will fight them!

There is no rip here. YOU opened an account at this bank YOU signed the necessary paperwork agreeing to their terms and conditions YOU use said account YOU overdrew said account THEY socked you with fees for said overage WHO did WHAT wrong? Im betting if you look closely through ALL the paperwork you signed and agreed to when you opened this account , it does NOT say ANYWHERE in it that if you overdraw by MORE than $100.00 they'll hit you with fees......or they wont if you overdraw less than a certain amount? Im betting they dont offer anywhere in the paperwork that if you ONLY overdraw a little they wont care? A penny..a thousand pennies.....a million.......it's allllllll the same to them.....OVERDRAWN.....money you dont have.. ............and it allllllll equals NSF / ODF Pay up bud...you lose

You overdrafted your account, plain and simple. The fees are not only legal, you agreed to them when you opened your account.

They only had to change how they disclose fees in their agreement. What you experienced is something all banks do - they all post transactions in order from largest to smallest. It's all in the account agreement you signed. What you should do is stop using your ATM card as a debit card. They told you when you got it that using it was free of charge. Tell me, do you NOW think it was free to use it? I hope you said the answer is no because it cost you over $200 to find out... Best of luck to you
