I have had a nightmare experience with Whirlpool. I will never buy your product and will tell every other person i encounter to boycott your company.  You do not take any responsibility for your product. A fridge is a product most people rely on and use on a daily basis. As of 5/22/13 the fridge that I have owned for under 120 days has not been working for 25 days. I have missed 5 days of work waiting for service appointments. I have gouges in my hardwood floors that no one will take responsibility for and lost all hope of having a working fridge. Why won't you just refund my money? You can't fix my fridge in a timely fashion. You should be ashamed of your company and their repair practices and I believe I am absolutely entitled to a refund for my fridge.

 
1/24/13: My fiance and I order fridge from home depot
4/28/13: I noticed my three month old fridge and freezer had stopped cooling, so I called Home Depot, where we purchased the fridge, to get it fixed. They give an appointment for the following Tuesday. The Active Appliance technician comes and says he will have to come back and can't do anything at all that day, he will need to find where it is leaking freon from before he can do anything. He can give me no time frame, maybe later that week he tells me, maybe not. I realize that he has left gouges in my three month old hardwood floor from improperly pulling out the fridge. I tell him that and he says that he has insurance but can't provide any documents. Then I make him call his office and I make him tell the office worker that he has caused damage.  She says I will have to write an email complaint with photos, which I do. He then tries to get me to sign a liabilty waiver after he caused damage to my home. I refuse to sign it as well as the invoice as it says he completed work to my satisfaction, when he really did nothing to fix my fridge. I write an email to his company, who then say that because I did not sign this waiver, I have waived my rights and they will do nothing.
 
I follow up with Whirlpool and Home Depot. Both companies try to pawn me off on the other - Whirlpool says Home Depot because I initially contacted them, and Home Depot says Whirlpool because it is under manufacturers warrant. They both say they cannot be held liably for damage caused by their authorized tehnician.  I ask Whirlpool to call the technicians office. Active Appliance lies to Whirlpool and says the appointment never happened because I refused to signed the waiver.  Its an awful big story for me to make up to get scratches fixed in my floor. Meanwhile... I have deep gouges in my floor and my fridge still doesnt work.  I ask Whirlpool for ALL of the authorized tehnicians in my area and do a yelp search of all the 7 given to me.  My findings show that all but one have 1.5 stars on yelp from MANY parties exclaiming what horrible service they provide, and if at all possible, not to let these companies inside of your home. The only company that does not havid absolutely horrible reviews cannot give me an appointment for over a week. We make an appointment with another company that has 1.2 stars on yelp for Friday 5/3. 
5/3/13 The company Allen and Sons tries to cancel that appointment for "car trouble" but we insist they come. Technician comes and say it is a freon leak and he will order parts and come back and fix it. Two weeks pass and we finally have an appointment for 5/16. 
5/16/13 Allen and Sons calls and says they ordered the wrong part but can get it overnighted and will be there the next day. 
5/17/13 they come without replacement parts - just dye to see where the freon is leaking from the fridge, saying that what they are doing will not fix the fridge but they have to do it before they are allowed to order parts - they say that the are charging the fridge with freon to cool it but it will fail again within a day, days or weeks at which point it could take another two weeks to get parts. I say that is not acceptable and ask Whirlpool to overnight the parts. Whirlpool says they will do so and the next appointment I can get from Allen and Sons is for Wednesday 5/22. Allen and Sons will not charge the fridge for freon for me to last me until this time, even after asking three times.
5/22/13 Allen and sons comes and puts in the new parts that they say will fix the freon leak. They then say that the compressor is not working so the fridge still will not cool. They cannot order the parts today because their parts department closed ten minutes earlier. They say to check back tomorrow to get information. I still have no working fridge, gouges in my floor, no responsibility. And I'm going crazy my mind because of it.
 
 
These are the companies your company told me where the only ones (save one who couldn't give me an appointment) I could let into my home to service my product. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!
