We bought a Whirlpool washer and dryer from Best Buys here in Kennesaw,Ga on March 27, 2002. The dryer broke in June.It took me weeks to get through their customer interaction number.

First person I went through was very rude to me and tried to tell that it was going to cost me $60 to have a service tech come fix my dryer and gave a number to call and set up an appointment to get it fixed. I had no luck getting through to that company. So I called Whirlpool back and got through to a guy that was real nice and set everything up for me and told me that it would cost me nothing.

August 5, 2002, service tech comes out and tells me that it needs a couple of parts replaced and that he's going to have to order them and that when I recieve them, I have to try to contact whirlpool again and reschedule for them to come back out. There a "Good Housekeeping" sticker on the dryer and it states that if the dryer is defective, a full refund or replacement will be given.

The service tech said it would be better to have it replaced. The service tech and I called whirlpool twice and they were rude to him and myself and refused the replacement. They finally gave a number to call regarding the sticker. The lady at that number told me to report this incident because they should be giving me a replacement. But she gave me another number to the people who actually are responsible to putting that guarantee sticker on the dryer.

I called them and they are refusing to give me a replacement too.
