William Lehman Buick ripoff dishonest handling of car buying transaction Miami Florida
Me & my husband trade in our Mitsubishi Mirage 1999 for a Hyundai Sonata 2004 with the intention of keeping our monthly payments on the $300 range. When my husband signed the paperwork the deal stated our payments of $301 montly, our interest was 6% and the estimated amount for our trade in was $2100. We gave our car to the dealership and got out with the Sonata without any kind of paperwork, the only thing we had was the Buyers Order and the promise of getting all taking care of soon.
Time went by and we move to Texas with no prove of ownership over the car once or ever and when we try to get our paperwork from the dealership on Miami they avoid us, my husband called them every day for the first month without having anybody answering and when they did they told us the deal we had signed was off because the company offering us the loan only finance Floridians, and we were not there anymore, so they said they lost all paperwork and that we have to get a new deal.
When they finally contact us after of 2 months of driving this car they told us the new deal was $390 a month for 66 months, 18.5% interest and $ 1000 down. We have been lie to and now they said because my husband old car was paid off by the dealership we need to pay the diference on it. My husband car was only worth $2500 and we owe $ 3818 on it, so they are threating my husband saying that if we don't take the deal they are going to savatage his credit and we'will never going to be able to get finance again. I had asked many times for copies of everything my husband signed but they wont give them to me. We even had a lawyer call them & they wouldn't talk to her either.
It's been 2 1/2 months & we have nothing resolve. They keep on lying every time we ask for our deal and to me they're only buying time so they can make us responsible for this car.
As far as I am concern we can't be held responsible for anything because we did nothing wrong & if they can't honored the deal we signed the first time we dont want a deal at all and we want our old car back. We can't afford $390 a month. I don't want to deal with them anymore and I want justice.
