Window Nation Discrimination, Lying to Customers Lorton Va, Glen Burnie MD Windownation.co
I am a woman and I currently work for Window Nation as a sales rep. Women (and other protected classes) are routinely discriminated against. I have filed an EEOC complaint and was decent enough to inform the managers. I can't even pay my bills while my male counterparts are bringing in six figures. I responded to an email thread today and voiced my opinion and was ultimately suspended.....simply because my negative comments were not welcome according to HR. I said nothing inappropriate or derogatory. I simply said I was tired and discouraged seeing the same group of men they favor get all the large leads. I wouldn't have stayed much longer anyway, due to the fact that we are told to lie to our customers and do some things that are at best unethical and at worst illegal...in my opinion and from the research I've done. *legal side note - this is my opinion. I'm not quoting the law. I wouldn't trust them in my home! If they can't even, or don't care to take care of their own how will they treat you?

Window Nation termianted my employement contract. They claim my above concerns were made public in an improper forum thereby giving them grounds to fire me.
Further, the attorney representing the company has demanded I retract this statement under penalty of lawsuit.
I'm guessing I'm unclear on confidentiality clauses, because I interpreted the law quite differenly.
But, as I am not an attorney, I hereby retract above statements.
I, in no way, intended to, intend to in the future, or desire to violate such clause.
