Woodside Group, LLC is a company that promises people they can make an extra $300-$750 per week working from home. They claim that they are Australia's largest publicly traded oil and gas exploration and production company with a market capitalisation of more than A$30 billion (as at 30 June 2007, based on A$1=US$0.85).
They take your personel information such as your name, phone, address and let you know that have sales representatives all over the world to distribute their products. But they have faced great difficulties starting of business in these new markets (being the US and UK). There are hundreds of competitors, close direct contacts between suppliers and customers and other difficulties, which impede their sales promotion.
So they need to get payments for products as soon as it possible. They are unable to open Bank Accounts in the United States without first undergoing the tedious job of registering the company name and preparing logistics for warehousing and integrated shipment. Presently with the amount of Orders we have, they cannot put them on hold. For fear of losing the customers out rightly, they would not want to incure the expense of International Transfer or Wiring of funds on them when they decide to make their payment by Wire or Transfer, Secondly they cannot cash these payments from the US soon enough, as international Checks take about 14 working days for cash to be made available.
So what they do is sent you a fake money order that looks real. Have it made out to you and when you go to cash it the bank or other check cashing insituite tells you that it is fraudulant.
