Worldwide Van Lines Scam company...broker Delray Beach, Florida
I will keep this report short and to the point as this company has already caused my family and I so much major complications due to their lies that I don't even want to speak about it any longer. Our sales rep blatantly lied to us every step of the way. They underestimated our move weight and according to their subcontracted movers if that is what you would call them, they were hardly movers showing up in a rental truck, not wearing uniforms, did not have any documents showing their names etc.... They were nice enough but clearly didn't know what they were doing and didn't know how to pack a truck or boxes for that matter as more than half of our belongings showed up either broken, scratched, nicked, or completely filthy. The subcontracted movers told me straight to the point that worldwide van lines was ONLY a broker and had zero trucks when Daryl told me that they had many of their own trucks and only use other movers when their trucks were full. They have NO trucks and only use other moving companies. The mover Ken also told me that all of their moves were messed up and always were much more weight than the quoted weight and that it was intentional. Also, the damages were so severe on several items and now we can't even get a response from this company. Once they take your $250 deposit they totally disappear from the picture and leave you to fend for yourself with these movers. Not only would I not recommend this company to an enemy, I would say STAY as far away from them as possible unless you don't value your time and possesions. They lured me with their A better business bureau rating and I failed to notice that their membership was only one month old at the time and now when I checked them out they are at a NO Rating due to their shady tactics.
