YES, they did rip me off bad! It has been going on for months! I spent all day today searching for info on WPI* IFRIENDS and found them! THE PHONE NUMBER IS - 1-800-437-4363 THE EMAIL IS [email protected] I hope this will help you end the charges to your check cards!!!! It has taken me months to get this info...I am glad I found it! I am SO SICK of them charging my card every month for nothing! It has been $6.95 every month! This past month I was in the process of shutting my bank account down so it would stop. I took all of MY money out of MY account...IFRIENDS got to my account befor it closed! It cost me $36!! I was SO MAD!! I hope this info I have posted will help all of you end this problem!

Due to the anonymous nature and limited amount of information provided in this complaint, we are unable to locate an account matching the details provided by Adam. However, the scenario presented in Adam's complaint is not one that realistically could have occurred on our site. Our toll-free telephone number is posted prominently next to every charge on every credit card bill a customer receives. Additionally, a link to telephone and email contact information is provided on every page of the website. We have encountered two distinct forms of internet credit card fraud in some internet transactions that we have processed: 1. "True Person Fraud" (also known as "Friendly Fraud"), in which a cardholder falsely denies ordering products and services online, is one of the fastest-growing forms of credit card fraud, according to credit-card industry executives. In this form of fraud, cardholders are perpetrators and merchants are victims. 2. "Identity Theft," in which the criminal gains access to sensitive personal information, including credit-card details, and uses that information to defraud cardholders and merchants. In this form of fraud, individual thieves are the perpetrators, and cardholders, merchants, and the parent credit-card associations are collectively victims. Based upon Adam's post, we are unable to determine whether this is a case of true identity theft and credit card fraud or simply a case of a joint cardholder failing to recall a visit to our web site. If he has not already done so, we encourage Adam to contact our office so that we can cancel the account that may have been established, refund any charges incurred, block any further charges from being incurred with our service, and investigate the circumstances surrounding the creation of this account. Our Customer Service Department can be reached 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week at 1-800-243-9726. We sincerely apologize if the membership created with Adam's information caused him to receive overdraft charges to his account. Unfortunately, because the bank or credit card company assesses overdraft charges, we would be unable to refund overdraft charges that originate from other companies. We are, of course, happy to refund any charges that we may have billed. We truly regret any misimpression that Adam may have about our services and our company.
