This company asked for credit card details to verify age only, they claimed I would never be charged again unless I ordered one of their packages.

So imagine my surprise when I receive my credit card statement and find that they have charged me $9+ (4.53) and I haven't even accessed the page since setting it up!

I have just cancelled my account with these rip off merchants and if receive any signicant news will send an updated report.

We were able to find Steph1979's account. As he stated, he had already cancelled the account, and a Customer Care representative subsequently sent an email to explain the genesis of the charges to him. We have also refunded the charges that were billed, and Steph1979 should see these refunds to his card within the next 7-10 business days. We apologize for any confusion that Steph1979 may have experienced. When Steph1979 created his account, he chose to enroll in the optional ClubVIP premium membership. The regular iFriends membership is free, but the VIP membership that Steph1979 chose to access has a monthly charge associated with it. As a result, he was subsequently billed $5.95 USD. This charge was clearly and conspicuously disclosed in advance. As stated above, we have fully refunded all charges that were billed to Steph1979.
