I was checking the balance of a credit card I hardly ever use today and found that this Adult Site "iFriends" I never visited ripped off my credit card for $6.95. The charge showed as "WPI*IFRIENDS VIP 800-IFRIEND FL"

After reading the above RipOffReport complaint, we found the related iFriends account. We have cancelled the account and have refunded the charges that were billed to this customer. If he has any further questions or concerns, we strongly encourage him to contact our Customer Care Department, which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by calling 1-800-243-9726 (a toll-free call from the US). The iFriends account was created by someone who had complete knowledge of the customer's personal information, including the credit card number, billing address, and email address. In addition, the screenname used to file this RipOffReport, littleseizure, was the same email address that was used to create the iFriends account. This person created a VIP membership, which resulted in a monthly fee of $6.95. As mentioned above, we have refunded those charges. If the customer feels that his personal information has been compromised, we strongly suggest that he contact his bank immediately and cancel the credit card. Additionally, he may wish to file a police report and start an investigation into the circumstances in which his card was used. We work diligently with banks and law enforcement agencies to help apprehend anyone committing credit card fraud or identity theft.
