I purchased a vehical in April 2007, and purchased the Wynns Extended Warranty. In the beginning od June I took my care in for an oil change and was made aware of some problems my car had. I contacted Wynn's, and I was told that they had no contract for me, they said they have never recieved a contract for me.

I then called the dealership who told me that no one from Wynns has come into pick up the contracts for some time...mine was still sitting on there desk. They then turned it in.

I then called Wynns a week or so later and I was told that my contract was not accepted because of the make and mileage on my vehical (my car is older with higher miles).

So next I contacted my finance company so I could have the 1450 dollars credited to my account...they said they would do that, they were going to send it to the appropriate person.

I recieved a certified letter from Wynns explaining that my contract has been voided, (June 29th) and that the contract was issued in "error"

So today I again called my finance company to see what was going on with my credit and they said there computer showed I DO have a contract with Wynn's. I expalined the whole thing to them, and they then got a Wynns representative on the phone who said "Yes, we have reinstated your contract as of July 9th, you will be recieving a letter in the mail!

My question is: Can they do this "reinstating" after the voided the contract without my permission and signiture? Wouldnt I have to sign a new contract? Is this legal?? What a run around. I dont want their darn contract!
