Zingotel, Zingo Telecom company steals phone numbers I had for over 15 years. way below subpar service. Unable to contact anyone with knowledge to settle. Ft Lauderdale Florida
I have been with Zingotel for well over 2 years. The problems I have been having with there company are voerly extensive to list. They are numerous and constant. My phones never worked properly from install. most calls are dropped, calls never come through and most recently (over the last year) my calls have been going into someone elses voicemail box, I have no ides who it is and Im not able to retrieve them.
I have put up with the companies below substandard service for way too long. Most recently, I have been interviewing for an executive position. The first interviewer didnt give me a call back so I waited for a week then called him back. He mentioned that he did call 3 times the prior week and left 2 voice mails. Distraught about this I wrote Zingotel and demanded they get my phone working properly. At this time I was willing to foreget about past problems.
A service person called me back and the first thing she said was...I needed new phone numbers. HU? how is getting new phone numbers going to help my calls dropped/ not comming through problem? After drilling her She admitted it wouldnt (my speculation is they get an incentive for from the charges of setting up new phone numbers).
She played with my system (thats all it ammounted to) after I allowed her to get into my system. I watched what she did and it ammounted to changing a few screens and flipping back...then she would leave and come back to do the same thing....for four hours. Then she signed off...not fixing my system. For days I would send them emails...growing more and more angry. For days the same tech would call me back and do the same thing without any resolve. I explained the importance of this being resolved.
I went in for my 2nd interview. It went well. I didnt hear from them again so I called them. I was informed that they again tried to reach me several times and left messages with no reply from me. They had 30 applicants for the position and when they didnt hear back from me they hired someone else.
That was it. I was done with Zingotel....but it isnt over yet. I sent Zingotel and email and left a voice message on the 21 of july 2008 That I will no longer use there serive. My number are to be ported to my new carrier. On the 25th of July I get a phone call and email from my new carrier saying address mismatch...Zingotel will not allow my numbers to be re-ported. Zingotel is reporting my phone numbers (which I have had for over 15 years) as there corporate address. Instead of the service address. I have called and written emails numerous times with promises it would be resolved...to no avail.
Now were into August, they send me my bill....my fax line hasnt worked for months, my main phone line works maybe 1 out of 10 calls. Again, at the time I recieved my bill everything was out. So, I called there t-support using my cell phone....losing ever more expensive minutes. Resolved to where it was before (no fax, main phone works when it wants to). I again told them about the porting issue. They demanded payment....wouldnt talk about the porting issue. I told them I wouldnt be using there service for a month so, I have been a loyal customer for over 2 years I would pay them the partial payment I owe when the porting is complete. Since it was there fault for extending my service with there company another month. I felt that was more then fair.
Well here we are almost a month later. Daily calls to zingotel. Daily agreements that the porting will be allowed to take place. And weekly calls and emails from my new carrier saying that there is an address mismatch. Anger is an understatement. Zingotel survives at the grace of there investors. If you have investments with them. Youre not very smart. I am a business owner. I actually have an investment company among other things. There will be actions taken against zingotel if this isnt resolved soon.
Oh, you might be interested in this. Not only does it take multipal tries to get through on a phone call. Since I have been trying to get my numbers ported. Zingotel has it so I can only talk for a minute and a half....then the calls are disconnected. So whoever I call I have to explain what is going on and have them call me back.
They keep claiming that they fixed the problem. But everytime it is being ported they are unable to for the same reason. Be careful of this company. If I were able to send emails to everyone contemplating there service to advise against it I would.
