since new management has taken over billing and payment of water and sewage utilities, the residents have been charged, double to triple amounts on their bills.when questioned about the amounts the office will reduce some of the bills, but not everyone.for example, the office threatened to hold a particular rent check until something was paid on the wayer/sewage bill.most residents are very strssed and frustrated with getting no reasonable  explanation from the office, only promises that this matter will be resolved "soon".so far,we are on the fourth month of inconsistent water bills, and we would like someone to take initiarive and really take care of the issue at hand.

llo Ms. Scott, This in reference to the concerns you made us aware of via your posting on ripoffreport.com.First and foremost, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience, misunderstanding or miscommunication encountered with NWP. Please know that it is not our intention to do so and our goal is to always ensure accurate and timely billing. Per a previous conversation with your sister we addressed / confirmed the following items. - Factorization of meter usage (1 gallon vs 10 gallon units of measure) Your previous billing provider calculated your usage to the nearest 10 gallon figure. For example, your previous provider bill reflected 300 under the current usage window of that bill.  Further instructions on that bill advised that All readings are to the nearest 10 gallons. Therefore, if you multiplied that figure by 10, you would  conclude that there were actually 3000 gallons of water used. NWP does not use the same factorization as your previous billing provider but, instead bills according to actual gallons used. This may have been confusing seeing that the figure appears as though its 10x more than what you were used to with your previous providers billing process.  However, rest assured it is exactly the same. - Your previous provider did not allocate out all charges from the local water district bill that they could have legally passed on. This has since been rectified with NWPs billing, therefore what you are currently billed is correct. We performed an additional review of your account and confirmed that the usage and all other billing is accurate.- You have been provided credits by your property for any previous billing errors that may have occurred and we understand that you are satisfied with the credit provided. - We reviewed the current bill and agreed your charges were in correct and your sister was in agreement as to  why it is higher than when you were billed by your previous provider. - We confirmed that your usage is actual - not estimated - and that the usage is within reason for 2 occupants. This usage (8-1-11 through 8-31-2011) will be available on your September billing statement that will be mailed within the next few daysAt this time we will also provide this response on ripoffreport.com

Sincerely,Sergio Sanchez
