I brought my car into Chazzam in February to get a custom wrap on my ‘21 GTI. At first chas was pretty decent and was excited about the project. As soon as the wrap was done, I drove off the lot I started having issues with my parking sensors, I brought it back 3 times for this issue alone. A month later I noticed my sunroof seal was cut all the way around, chas offered to pay for it after a month plus of back and forth calls and texts about the issue.
They promised me that they used “kinfeless cutting” and never used a blade on the car. After a while I noticed weird lines that were off of the normal pattern. (1 base layer and the second layer was cut outs on the vinyl). I went back with my dad to speak to chas and his brother about the issue and the duo got really confrontational and gave off a “not my problem” attitude.
They once again said that they didn’t use a blade against my car, so I left and decided to take the hood vinyl off myself to see the presumed damage. Low and behold, I had deep cut marks all over my hood and front bumper, as well as my rear hatch and the door sills. I sent chas a message again and he sent me a whole paragraph saying how “unprofessional” I was listing off a bunch of things that are supposedly wrong with me, you know… his customer.
I have since sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau which they never replied to and requested for more time to reply with no intent to try to resolve it. Chas told me he no longer wants to work with me, you know the person who has $10,000-14,000 worth of damage on my brand new car. My headlights have cuts all over them, my paint is damaged and I paid $3000 to have them damage my brand new GTI with 200 miles on it right off the dealer lot
Without the cuts and other exterior damage, the whole wrap wasn’t done properly and they sped through it without actually taking their time to make sure it looked decent. The 2nd layer was obviously cut on the car (hence, the deep cuts on the paint and headlights) but they will never admit fault for anything.
