On August 30, 2022 I requested kenway movers to move me out of my apartment to a new location. I was an add on but did not know. This move had been rescheduled a few times. Very suspicious but they were nice so I went with it.

They arrived two hours late saying they were short handed. The move was the move from hell! From start to finish. They would not take a money order not even for half no credit or debit card either. Told me to cash in money order and give them the funds before they would start the move. I did plus $150.00 tip!

They took my money and clowned the tenants and office did not like me after they broke stuff blocked the elevator with furniture blocked service room doors with boxes and stacked stuff up against fire doors. They had my furniture in the hall as if I was being evicted. Everyone was upset.

After two hours of name calling harrassing me they quite! Total time was four hours one hour spent on the phone walking around making comments about my expensive residence.

They left with boxes and a sofa leaving my furniture behind saying they would come back and pick it up later. They did not instead really clowned blocked the elevator blocked doorways. I told them to remove the furniture and not to stack my albums on too of each other and they left.

I contacted the owner who lives in Birmingham at a location that is listed to be sold at Zillow. Strange so I went to see. It's empty! No address on the bill of landing no email either. No final statement or contract as to what was done and no place for the mover to sign that job was completed. It does say paid in full.

The total was $2,085 plus $150 tip. He did not receipt money received. Instead he and his crew left stranded me with no alternative but to call the owner again who said he would dispatch a new crew to finish the job.

So far they have not returned. Instead I am looking at numerous boxes which we all know slows a big move down. I was told not to use wardrobes. They are everywhere and no furniture. It's at the old address. I am sleeping on the floor.

Clearly there is a lack of professionalism and compassion that has caused me emotional distress and embarrassment!
