On 9/28/24 my husband and I went to Taylor Trading to buy a car. We test drove a 2014 Ford escape vin # 1FMCU0GX5EUD49011. Due to some issues we paid $1000 cash, and on 9/29 paid over the $4000 with my debit card. On 9/30 we went to signed the paperwork, since the car had some issues that they agreed to fix,we left to get it the next day. We talked to the owner on 10/02, she told us we could pick it up at the dealership on 10/03 at 9 am. On 10/03 we got there at 9 am and waited for 1h.our salesman Manny who was supposed to give us the car didn't show up.

We drove back home and then left town few hours after. We came back on 10/06, and discover that they had dropped the car without our presence. After looking at it we found out it was not the car we test drove, not only they put on the contract a different car they also changed the finance terms. On 10/7 we took to the mechanic,he advised us to take the car back to the dealer because the rust on it was so bad that they would not fix it. Tried to talk to the owner and our salesman, but were unsuccessful. They were closed and reopened 10/11.

We talked to another salesman named Edgar, explained that we got a different car, after checking with The owner he said that, we were approved for that one instead. So on 9/30 Taylor stood in front of us while we were signing the paperwork and chose not to disclose that we were approved for a different car.we stated that we wanted a refund for our down payment but she refuses to refund us,saying that it's their policy and that we can trade it. On 9/23 after finding out that another vehicle we were considering trading was also bad, we insisted in getting our money back but instead she sold us a car for 5k but wanted us to sign the paperwork that stated that we bought it for 3k. My husband inquired about the remaining 2k, she said it was the cancellation fee.

We requested a receipt for that which she made, but with the vin # of the car we test drove but didn't get. She also wanted us to sign a document that says we can't leave bad reviews or seek legal advice, which we didn't sign. After Taylor wendlocher,Manny, and TC put us through all the stress and back and forth, she was still being dishonest and trying to makes us wave our rights. She should've talked to us the day we went there to explained everything, but all she had done was ignoring us.

She took no accountability for what they did and the car she sold us is so bad that we already spend $700 on it. She acted like she was helping us but her and her team don't care about costumers. All of this could've been avoided if they were honest from the beginning.
