UPS I had to go to the facility and pick it up. What I learned was very interesting. The driver had claimed that our road was flooded every day since Wednesday, which was a lie. His Supervisor tried making repeated excuses for him, but none were credible. ATLANTA GEORGIA
I had to go to the facility and pick it up. What I learned was very interesting. The driver had claimed that our road was flooded every day since Wednesday, which was a lie. His Supervisor tried making repeated excuses for him, but none were credible. There was ZERO flooding of either our road or driveway. My wife drove her BMW and I drove a flat bed dump truck down the driveway each of the mentioned days.
Furthermore, I learned that this is the same driver who lost another book that we had ordered recently and had to get a refund. You have serious problems with both this driver and his Supervisor. The Supervisor was clearly trying everything she could to exonerate the driver and justify his outright lies. I am very tired of UPS losing packages and lying about the circumstances.
I am also very tired of your terrible customer service. I called your 3rd world call centers every day from Wednesday to Saturday, with your "reps" telling me that someone from the delivery hub / distribution center would be calling me. It never happened. I waited on hold for a "manager" for over 1 1/2 hours both Friday night and Saturday night, with no one ever picking up the line or calling me back.
I will henceforth be checking with vendors that I do business with and make sure that they do not use UPS. I paid for expedited shipping and got nothing. Furthermore, your driver told provable lies about why my package was not delivered. You claim to be able to get packages around the world, but can't deliver one 8 miles away from your distribution center for a week? You STILL didn't deliver it.
I had to track it down and raise enough of a stink for your "Supervisor" to have the lying driver bring my package to the loading center. I doubt very much that it would have been delivered at all, given your poor service and repeated covering for this driver. I don't know if he is stealing the packages or is just lazy, but I DO know that he is a liar. To date, NO ONE from UPS has contacted me.
