I ordered a full size bed set and a queen size mattress from 1800Mattress on June 25th.  Went through the site, read the reviews, decided on the Sealy Posture Premier Luxembur Plush Euro Top Mattress.

The description read:  Feel our comfy Sealy Posture Premier Luxemburg Plush Euro Top Mattress. This cozy Euro top mattress combines a strong innerspring with foam for added support.

Take a step up in the quality of your sleep. The Sealy Posture Premier Luxemburg Pillow Top offers all the comfort of a standard model but adds a pillow top to provide extra layers of comfort for a great night's sleep. Pre-compressed StayTrue fiber and foam materials prevent body impressions, for mattresses that look and feel like new even after years of use.

Based on that description, we purchased the full and the queen.  Let me tell you, the description could not be more inaccurate.  The bed is hardly a pillow top.  My previous mattress WAS a pillow top, and this "premier" pillow top was 2 inches shorter of depth than my previous bed.  (Which was also a Sealy)  The mattress was lumpy, uncomfortable and noisy. Also, we could all feel the springs in our beds.  Total rip off junk.

Although I ordered these mattresses online, I did call to set up delivery.  At the time that I did that, the person on the phone told me that I had 30 days to return the mattress if I was unsatisifed.  I thought "wow, they have a lovely return policy but I won't need to use it since I already know Sealy beds rock."  

Unfortunately, Sealy didn't rock and as I stated above, the beds are hideoous.  I called a few days after the beds were delivered and advised that I wanted to return them.  The guy on the phone told me that I could refund or exchange.  I said I'd like to exchange and told him which mattress I was looking at to replace the full set and the queen.  There was a nine hundred dollar price difference, to which I said I would go somewhere else to get a better deal- I just want to return the beds.  He said that would be fine, someone would call me to set up take away.  As instructed I left ALL tags on the bed.  They had only been slept on for two days, were protected by mattress covers and are pristine so I knew there wouldn't be a problem.

In the meantime I got new mattresses at a MUCH better price from macy's.  For only $300 more than I spent at 1800Mattress I got a full macybed premium plush set and a queen macybed premium plush set. Nicest bed I've ever had in my life, we are all thrilled with the beds.  The quality is so much better that it makes me wonder what in the world 1800mattress is doing.

Anyway- no one from 1800mattress ever called to schedule take away and I've got a full size set and a queen mattress sitting in the alcove of my room.  I called them today to ask how much longer I was going to have to wait and was told I can't have a refund, I can only do a comfort exchange.  After some back and forth I finally said fine, just take them back and give me a store credit.  I'm redoing my guest room, in a month or two I will order a bed for it.  The answer to this was no, the comfort exchange has to happen NOW.  

I went up the corporate chain and never got anywhere.  They were all RUDE, unfriendly, obnoxious and obstinate.

With me it's not the money, it's the principle. I was told my two separate employees that beds could be RETURNED (not exchanged- RETURNED) if I was unsatisifed.  I'm unsatified but now can't return or get a store credit.  So I'm going to donate the beds to the Habitat for Humanity resale store and write this off as a loss.  In the meantime I am telling anyone and everyone who will listen NOT TO BUY MATTRESSES FROM THE INTERNET!!!  And if you DO buy from the internet, DON'T use 1800mattress.  Even if the bed is the worst piece of garbage ever, they won't refund your money.
