1 Way Photo Switch and Bait tactics Brooklyn New York
I had searched the net for a Canon 40D camera and the best prices were from 1 way photo and expresscameras. The package I ordered was the Ultimate for 2499.00. It had 2 good lenses and camera. Of course shipping accessories were free.
After I ordered I recieved an email stating that I needed to call and confirm. Scott answered and told me that I should upgrade the battery to a 5 hour for 299.00. I told him no and he told me I could get this other package with 2 really good lenses for 2999.00. He told me to do a search for the lenses and when I did, the ones that he showed me were 1499.00 and 1599.00. I thought I was getting a better deal so I told him to go ahead.
After I got off the phone I searched more about the company and found out that they had alot of complaints. I immediately called back to cancel my order and told them they were a rip off. He asked where I recieved the info and told me that the site I went to were people who hated mail order companys.
I then called my credit card company and they could not do anything about it until they had charged the account. I recieved the package the next day. On their site they say it is 500.00 for next day. I did not order next day and he had told me it would take 5-7 days. We looked at the lenses on line and they were no more than 800.00 in total. I called back and no answer.
Finally on Sunday I called and Scott answered. I told him that they ripped me off and he asked which lenses I had ordered. He told me that the ones i was looking at online were not the same ones in fact the ones I had were professional. When talking to a camera shop apparently the ones with an L after the numbers are pro lenses. Again he lied to me. He told me if we were not happy with the camera to send it back and I think that is what we are going to do. I could have gone into a store here and purchased the same equipment for less money
