86th Street Photo & Video is a big RIPOFF!! Don't waste your time Internet
I wanted to purchase a GPS Garmin 760. On the price comparisons, their company was the lowest by far. I placed an order and they followed up with an email wanting to confirm before they shipped.
They then proceeded to attempt to sell me add -ons WAY above market pricing and stuff that I knew wasn't needed but should be included in the order. I was told that the charging device the comes with the product that you plugged into a cigarette lighter actually overheated the unit and that I needed to buy their 69.95 cord. I said I didn't need what they offered.
They then said they could ship right away as they were not in stock and would take 4-6 weeks. I smelled a rat and a scam. Looked them up in Ripoff Report and found others received the same treatment.
Best think you can do is to contact these sites that do price comparisons, such as Pricegrabbers.com and tell them not to list 86th street photo & video as a vendor.
