Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This guy is the worst kind of person to know! He makes you feel comfortable and acts like your great friends. Then he works his way into your company and tries to get you to GIVE him a part of you hard work for his "CON-nections" and knowledge. You will find that he has no real talent but it will take a month or two!! TOTAL FREAK AND 100% weird! You won't believe this at first but you will find the same thing that I found out.

I too had the unfortunate experience of meeting Adam Hathcock in 2013 going into 2014.  He used a number of fake names including Adam Rhodes, John Davidson etc.  He claimed under his name John Davidson to be an MBA.  Which should tell you this guy is willing to say anything to direct attention away from who he really is.  He never brought anything tangible to the table.  Only the promise that if we gave him part of our resources he would give us more.  He attempted to piggy back on players that were already in the space to offer to bring more when in fact he never brought a thing to the table.

While our complaint is less dramatic than a “gun in a meeting”, I think it is a further demonstration of how far he will go in saying something to get the attention away from who he really is.

The Truth About the Poster Scott Ashjian SCAM, LIAR, FRAUD

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, October 18, 2011

My name is Adam J. Hathcock.    I was the founder of Development Funding Group, Inc. (DFG) the company in question.

My response to the poster of this comment, Mr. Jon Scott Ashjian, former fake 2010 Senate tea party candidate, scammer, slanderer, and liar.  Some other press about Mr. Scott Ashjian:

Google Scott Ashjian Scam and see what else you find.   I've witnessed him pull a gun on people in his office in a quite executive meeting.   Its unfortunate because his father,  mother and two brothers are all successful class acts.

My advice to Scott Ashjian is to take his losses like the rest of us without resorting to untruthful anonymous lies with the intent of harming honest people's reputations.    This is a malicious, unethical, dishonest attempt to damage my reputation because I sit on the Board of an Internet Startup.   Scott Ashjian is the worst type of cancer that without cause will slander honest, hardworking people's reputation without a second thought.

For those interested in the reputation of the poster -- Mr. Jon Scott Ashjian, and what type of  character Mr. Ashjian has  -- this is from another  poster:

"This is Bogus baloney and comes from "Scott Ashjian." He has been ripping off people in Las Vegas for years and now that this group is pursuing him for defrauding them out of Millions he is attempting to smear all of them! It is a real shame that people can post bogus stuff about others on this and other sites without any proof that their claim has validity Soon Mr Scott Ashjian will be in a legal battle that will finally put him where he belongs! His bogus campaign to run for Nevada Senator will finally be exposed for what it was and he will be ousted by the many people that he has fraudulently stolen millions from. "

It doesn't surprise me that Mr. Jon Scott Ashjian attempts to hide behind "anonymous" posts.  Scott Ashjian has slandered at least three other individuals and companies in town that I'm aware of.

As the founder of DFG, I personally lost several million dollars invested alongside DFG's lenders and investors.     Over the course of DFG's history it borrowed and subsequently repaid several tens of millions  in real estate loans.     DFG, like so many other reputable commercial real estate investment companies, after turning out years of profits, was hit in the 2007-2008 real estate and financial  crisis.     Approximately 80% of the equity invested in DFG's real estate investments were from past  company-generated profits with approximately 20% from outside capital partners.    Scott Ashjian was one of a few outside lenders to DFG.   DFG borrowed and repaid over $550,000 to Scott Ashjian and his younger brother B. Ashjian, who I won't mention here but who can attest to any of these facts and who is still a friend.   Scott Ashjian's portion of total DFG bad debt was $65k when DFG went into insolvency while developing a $60 million, 150,000 sq ft. Asian-themed, grocery-anchored shopping center at Warm Springs and Jones  in Las Vegas, Nevada.   Scott's younger brother lost $55k as well.

Like so many other investors and developers, DFG took losses and so did some of the company's
independent capital partners and lenders.   Most people in the broader real estate market did as well.     I've had to take my losses standing up and file for bankruptcy corporately and personally.   I provided Scott and his brother with all of DFG's office furniture when it closed it's doors in 2008 - not because it was collateralized -- but because it was the best I could do to make things right.

I'm owed personally over $1.2 million in uncollectable loans and receivables from individuals or  companies which must be written off as bad debt as part of the real estate downturn.   I'm not online creating false posts about them.   I also spent millions of hard-earned profits and personal wealth in an attempt to save DFG's corresponding real estate investments and return lender capital.

If you would like to know what type of person I am,  I've attached pictures of some DFG previous developments to this post and you can find my personal and professional background here:
