Al Serra Chevrolet Hummer charging for the same repairs 2 and 3 times; or breaking a part and charging for replacing it ripoff Colorado Springs Colorado
I have taken my two cars to Al Serra many times for repairs. I noticed while I was in Iraq that the charges were becoming extremely expensive.
I discovered that my wife was dropping the car off for repairs, that had been repaired previously, and paid for previously. When I addressed these concerns to the owner, he told me to take my cars somewhere else.
I was charged over $1000 for the service dept to diagnose an electrical problem. All the while it was a simple alternator problem $100 at the most.
Our steering column was loose, so my wife took it in to be tightened. In the process of tightening it, they broke the electrical contacts for the high bean switch. They charged my wife for the part and the labor to repair it; another $900.
They also returned our car to my wife almost empty of fuel. She went to the fuel station to fill up; but the fuel door on the car was now broken by the dealer. She ran out of fuel and had to hire a tow truck. The dealer refused to reimburse her.
I turned in the dealership to the Better Business Bureau, but the dealership refused to respond.
