Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Yes I had a wonderful experience (NOT) with Alan Webb Nissan. I saw an add adverting a car I wanted, so my son and I drove all the way from Eugene, OR to look @ the car and purchase the car. Their Finance Managers are a bunch of "LIARS". When we went in to do the paper work to finalize the car their Finance Manager (Tareak) told me I needed all this other stuff added to the loan amount, before the bank would approve the loan (extended warranty, gap insurance, etc.). He also told me they were going to give me free oil changes as long as I owned the car (they charged me $199.00). Why would I purchase this? When I live over 150 miles away from Vancouver.

The only reason why I found out they lied to me was through my bank. My bank told me, "it was against the law to not approve a loan with all these additions". Wow did I feel really stupid! I called them the next day and Tareak (Finance Manager) pretty much told me. "he's sorry I misunderstood him". I didn't misunderstand anything I know what he said, and my son knows what he said too.

I asked them if they can redo the paperwork to get all this extra stuff off my loan once again they lied to me. They told me, "the loan has already been approved, and the paperwork was already completed" ANOTHER LIE! My bank said, "ALAN WEBB Nissan can redo the paperwork and they have up to 6 mths to do it". This would make my loan, interest, and mthly payment less. Do they care? No it's all about how they can SCREW.. their customers and the $$$$$.

That's okay Alan Webb I will get the last laugh - I too will be hiring an attorney.

went to buy a car, correct?

Then 'Google' this- AUTO DEALER LOUIS F HARRELSON TO PLEAD GUILTY, and read all about what took place in regards to this dealership. I believe that the FBI got involved due to some 'hanky-panky' in regards to how their finance managers conducted business, right?

Thank You

I too had a bunch of additions added to my loan from this dealership.  Upon trying to get things straightened out the next day, Stewart word for word said "You could call Alan Webb himself, but you're not going to get anything back."  Well, he was right, I called and left a message on Alan Webb's voicemail (If he actually listens to it) and didn't really get any response.  The one thing I could cancel, the warranty (because Stewart also forgot to mention that all nissans come with a standard warranty).  I cancelled the warranty and was suppose to get the money credited to my loan over a month ago.  I've called and gone in to Alan Webb several times, but the employees can't seem to handle a task as simple as calling a customer back.  I definitely will not be buying from this dealership again and I will forever recommend that others stay away as well.  I just don't understand why the dealership wasn't willing to work with me, better to make me happy today and get more of my money in the future.  I'm only 26, with a great job, and will be buying several more cars in the future.  Surely not from them though.

Maggie was clearly upset and had difficulty communicating with a past employee. When I spoke with her she was very nice and appologetic for having posted her comments. She felt ample reason to post her feelings. However, when she did communicate her concerns I was able to identify her concerns and address them. Maggie is now a happpy customer. Give Alan Webb Nissan the opportunity to work with you on your vehicle needs and you will see that we do want your business and will work hard to earn it.

Read your paperwork fine print carefully for cancellation info

Please take the time to read the paperwork on your purchase, looking specifically for cancellation instructions. I can sympathize with your situation, as I am currently going through a similar problem with this same exact dealership. For example, Gap protection can be cancelled within 60 days for a 100% refund. After 60 days, you can get a pro-rata refund. The telephone number of the company providing the gap insurance should be Safe-guard Products Intl and their contact info is at the very bottom of Safe-Gap form you signed. This should also be true for the other items. Its not suprising that the dealer/finance guy does not want you to cancel because that is taking money out of their pocket.
