Alliance One Harrassment!! Ripoff Exton Pennsylvania
Beggining about 2 months ago I began receiving phone messages from a "Mr Thompson" who wanted to speak to "Ken". Afeter a few messages were left I called the gentleman back to let him know that "Ken" was the previous owner of my home. He did not live here. And the phone number they were calling could only have been obtained through a reverse lookup for the address. as this was the new number given to me when I transferred my telephone service to my new address last December after purchasing my home. He proceeded to yell at me and tell me "You are a liar! I have spoken to him multpile time at this number!"
I asked him to give me the name of his firm and a phone number for his supervisor which he refused to do. I told him not to ever call this nmuber again.
3-4 time per week including weekends he has continued to leave messages.
I again called his number and when I got a machine I decided to contact Alliance One as they were the ones who apperaed on my Caller ID. This just fed me back to the same machine giving me the origianl number he left on my machine.
After several hours on the internet I paid for a reverse phone lookup and found that both numbers were registered only as "Mr Thompson" with no address.
I then searched out Alliance One on the internet and made a long distance call to them. Upone finding that they were not open at the time I left a message for a supervisor to contact me in regard to this matter. I am presently waiting to hear back.
I have since been given info telling me that Alliance One has an entire team of reps going under the pseudonym "Mr Thompson" . I can only assume this is in order to harass people into giving them info without the person on the phone having a way to contact the company directly to stop the calls
