I recently purchased an America Rag top at Macy's.  The name of the group is Key West
INJ and the color is grey combo.  The first time I wore the top it started pilling.  (For those who don't know what pilling is, it's those ugly lint balls you get on cheap clothing and you can't get rid of it on delicate fabrics, maybe on a sweater you can with a clothes shaver).

Why would a company that sells expensive clothing use cheap fabrics and charge you the prices they do?  I like the top, but I'm very disappointed in the quality of the fabric. It's starting to look old and worn.  The Rayon and Spandex mix may have something to do with it, (but I doubt it) or it's just cheap fabric.  I have other clothing with a rayon, spandex mix or rayon, poly, spandex mix, and this hasn't happened.

It's too bad that this cheap crap doesn't start pilling in the stores before you buy it.  I should  return it to Macy's as damaged.  Soon I'll be wearing it around the house as lounge wear.  I've gotten some lounge wear and other clothing from stores such as Old Navy, JCPenney, etc., that hasn't pilled and look more expensive than the supposedly high end clothing today? The best way to keep customers, and keep them from returning your poor quality merchandise made with cheap fabric is to make it with quality fabric.

These stores charge the same prices, but sell you poor quality, again, what is going on?  I don't shop in stores like Rainbow, Mandee and Easy Pickens, but I may as well if what I buy from better stores look worse than what these cheap stores sell.

You said "  I should  return it to Macy's as damaged.  "

After you do that THEN come back and complain. So far your only complaint is that you bought an American Rag shirt and it really is a rag.
