Barrister Anthony Allan Esq Tried to have me get an account to transfer funds Lome Internet
I was sent a msg this morning from a man named Barrister Anthony Allan Esq. He sent an email telling me I'm next of kin to somebody that died in a plane crash and they want to transfer his account to my name. Here is a copy of the email that was sent to me:

From time immemorial, those who have been inspired to bring change have all employed one thing in common, innovation, creative tools, and most importantly through good thinking.I have no doubt in my mind that there will be a complete life turn around, by the end of this deal and I have decided to contact you having in mind that friendship starts from a point in time as friends today were once strangers.
I am Barr. Anthony Allan, a legal practitioner, I am the personal attorney to M. S. Birch, an oil consultant, who used to work with Shell Development Company in Lome Togo.On the 26th December 2003, our deceased customer,his wife and their only daugther were involved in a plane crash in a village called Adjarra near Porto Novou after take off from Cotonou in Benin Republic where they went for a Concert . It was unfortunate that our deceased customeer and his family all lost their lives in that crash.For more on the plane crash log on to ;

Since then I have made several inquiries to the embassy to locate any of my clients relatives, this has proved unsuccessful.After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to track his last name over the Internet, to locate any of his remote relatives hence I contacted you. I have contacted you to assist in repatriating the fund valued at US$10.5 million left behind by my client before it gets confiscated or declared unserviceable by the Finance Firm where this huge amount was deposited.
The said Finance Company has issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or have his account confiscated within the next twenty-one working days. Since I have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over 2years now, I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin to the deceased since you have the same last name, so that the proceeds of this account can be paid to you.Therefore, on receipt of your positive response, we shall then discuss the sharing ratio and modalities for transfer.I have all necessary information and legal documents needed to back you up for the claim.
All I require from you is your honest cooperation to enable us see this transaction through. I guarantee that this will be executed under legitimate arrangements that will protect you from any breach of the law.

THIS IS A SCAM -- A CLASSIC SCAM. THIS IS SO OLD THAT THIS SCAMSTER MUST HAVE BEEN RECENTLY RELEASED FROM PRISON IN NIGERIA BECAUSE HE APPARENTLY DOES NOT KNOW THAT THE WORD IS OUT ABOUT THIS FAKE LETTER. ANY LETTER FROM NIGERIA IS A SCAM. YOU CAN TELL BY THE BAD EUROPEAN STYLE ENGLISH WHICH IS INCORRECT AND FULL OF MISSPELLINGS. A LOT OF THESE LETTERS CLAIM TO BE WRITTEN BY CHINESE PEOPLE AND PEOPLE FROM ELSEWHERE BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THE ENTIRE WORLD THAT NIGERIA IS THE CENTER OF INTERNET SCAMS... AND THERE ARE SO MANY OF THEM! IN THE GHETTO, WE CALL PEOPLE LIKE THIS PLAYERS. WE ARE HIP TO THESE SCAMS BECAUSE THERE ARE VARIATIONS USED HERE BY PEOPLE EVERY DAY IN EVERY WAY. GOOD THING YOU CAUGHT THIS GUY AND DIDN'T GET RIPPED OFF BECAUSE THIS IS ONE OF THE OLDEST SCAMMERS IN THE BOOK. THIS GUY IS NO LAWYER. HE IS IN AN INTERNET CAFE IN LAGOS WHERE HE AND MANY MORE LIKE HIM HOPE TO SCAM PEOPLE INTO SENDING HIM MONEY. LAGOS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE FEW PLACES IN NIGERIA THAT HAS RELIABLE ELECTRICITY AND INTERNET CONNECTIONS. THEY EXCHANGE NOTES AND THEY BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE IN THE SOUTHERN UNITED STATES ARE THE MOST LIKELY TO FALL FOR THEIR SCAMS BECAUSE THEY THINK THAT WE ARE THE MOST STUPID AND LEAST EDUCATED PEOPLE IN THE USA. I HAVE KNOWN OF PEOPLE WITH PH d DEGREES AND MDS FALLING FOR THEIR SCAMS AS WELL. GO WATCH THE VIDEO "I GO CHOP YOUR DOLLAR" ON A WELL-KNOWN INTERNET SITE THAT SHOWS MUSIC VIDEOS TO LEARN WHAT THE NIGERIANS REALLY THINK ABOUT US. THE MUSIC IS NEAT AND REMINDS ME A LOT OF SKA AND REGGAE WHICH ALSO COMES FROM AFRICA BUT NEVER FORGET THESE GUYS WANT TO SCAM MONEY FROM YOU AND NOTHING ELSE! I USED TO SEND THEM GANGSTA RAP VIDEO LINKS BUT I CAN'T BE BOTHERED WITH THEM ANYMORE.
