I purchased a toy hammock for my son's bedroom from The Happy Baby Store online on April 8, 2010. I didn't hear anything from the company for 12 days, when I received an e-mail telling me my purchase had been shipped. There was no website, no receipt, and it was written very informally.
I was suspicious already, but decided to give it some time. Finally, on May 17, 2010 I decided to call the number give on my credit card bill to ask about my purchase. My card had already been credited, but I had received nothing!
The first time I called there was no answer. It went to a Spring voicemail message - a cell phone. A little unprofessional, no? The second time, a man with an accent so thick I couldn't understand proceeded to tell me I had never made a purchase.
I hung up the phone in rage, and he called me back not once, not twice, but three times! He left a very unprofessional and messy voicemail with many "um's" and "uh's". I am so appalled that rather than dealing with this I had my credit card company dispute the charge.
