Aquajet showers in somers, NY did finally send a replacement part for our shower 9011. The plumber just replaced the part and finished re-assembling the shower yesterday. This is a NEW (my 3rd) plumber.
His advice for the company is to have a dvd for the ENGLISH speaking people and more EXPLICIT directions. Directions that match the shower purchased.
It's only common courtesy for a company to answer the phone and return calls to customers when promised. The plumber tried to call when he was here working to ask for some advice on assembling the shower because of it's difficulty. He sold the shower to us saying (an uneducated non plumber person could have it done in 4 hours) which is not true.
Although the shower is assembled and not working 100% and missing shelves my daughter did enjoy taking her 1st bath in it today while she is home sick from school.
If the company was just honest and maybe had a phone tech on hand that answered all installation questions Mon-Fri to offer advise/help with assembling they would have a lot more happy customers. I'm sure it's frustrating and overwhelming for James when complaint after complaint comes in but this is a business and that's part of owning a company. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and do the right thing. I know I would just to keep my reputation and happy customers. Referrals are the BEST advertisement and it's FREE!

10 year warranty? How is that possible if they don't return calls, emails or letters? That is FALSE advertising.
Just saw an attorney about this company. Also wrote letters to Attorney General, Consumer Affairs, as well as Constar (who is the manufacture). Only response I got was that they have wrote this company letters and he does NOT respond back. He ignores every complaint according to the BBB who now list this company as rated F.
I bought shower # 9011 from Aquajet showers for a now 9 yr old child with down syndrome and other disability's. The shower came 4/18/2012 and to this date NEVER worked. In fact we had to pay plumber #1 to take it down so I could get a CO on my home because the shower was inoperable and the insepctor would not pass it. Plumber #2 came out and tried to reassemble and had ALL the same issues as plumber #1. BOTH plumbers are NJ certified. I was advised by my attorney to take it down as it is a saftey hazard for my 2 small children so plumber #2 is doing that this weekend. I have invested over $8,000.00 in the shower at this time.
Sad thing is my little girl is devastated and lays next to the shower with her bath towel crying to use it. How do you tell a child like her what's going on when at 9yrs old she can barely speak.
The down syndrome group (which has over 1000 members) was waiting to hear all about the shower. If my daughter loved it and it helped with showering her they were going to call the company down to demonstrate the shower at one of the seminars we have. I bet they could have sold hundreds to the families. I have been keeping them updated on my progress with my experience so far.
I do plan to make EVERYONE aware of MY experience with this company. I also INVITE anybody to my home to see the shower sitting in my basement NEVER used 1 time! I plan to attend ALL the home shows in the NJ, DE, MD, PA, NY area with all my paid bills in hand & copies of all my letters I have wrote to date and pictures with my daughter holding her bath towel crying to get in. I also have video on my phone.
