Aquamax Direct Mitchell Slibowitz Sold inflatable boat with 5 year warranty,they will not honor it. Said "we are going out of business", Internet
I bought a boat from Mitchell Slibowitz of Aquamax direct 1 year ago. Their prices looked good. I was assured of their solid 5 year warranty, and service after the sale. I called to inform them I was having a proble with a seam, and Liz from Aquamax said "no problem, send me a picture" then we can send you to a repair facility, or ship it back. Your choice. I sent the photo, no response. Called over the course of weeks, "we're working on it". Today I was told "we are going out of business anyway, so we can't help you" I asked about the warranty, and she said the warranty is no good if they are not in business! She also informed me there were several others "in the same boat" Nice choice of words. Doesn't NY have any guidelines on warranties? It is a vessel that is registered?
At any rate, do not buy from this terrible rip-off comapny. The collected countless thousands promising a 5 year warranty, and now is just closing up shop!

Correct spelling of "owner" is Mitchell E. Silbowittz. He is a NY attorney. Avoid this underhanded rip-off artist at all costs!!
