My father sent me sweets from Beirut, Lebanon with Aramex. He paid around $120 for the shipping, and $50 for the sweets. It's been more than 10 days, and they didn't deliver it yet. Today I talked to them, and they said it's being held by fta. But, when I track it online, it says that it has been released by customs five days ago. So, I dont know what to do in this case. The sweets are not good now. When I tell them I want to get my money back, they say to file the complaint form overseas. They are responsible here for handleing the shipment in a proper way. They keep telling me stories !!!

I think the reason is clearly stated on their website. There is a list of all the restricted items that might not be delivered and this is a quote from their site : " Aramex will not ship any item that is prohibited by any law, regulation, state, or local government. Below is a general list of materials that are strictly prohibited. .......Perishable Food Stuffs and Food Beverages Requiring Refrigeration or Other Environmental Control........... ". I think "sweets" are from this category. Try to listen to their "stories" they might be trying to explain to you why they havent delivered the package. Aramex have great services.
