Arion Motors Inc Unfair, Deceptive and Abusive Practices Hollywood Florida
Arion Motors Inc. sold me a car in May 2016. They gave me a cash price for the vehicle and allowed a restricted test drive. I asked to take the car on the main road State rd. 7/US 441 they said no citing insurance. The road they allowed the test drive was a semi commercial residential area with StreetSide parking. I agrees to the sum of 3500 and paid this in full within minutes the sales man Eddie says he forgot but I must now may an additional 390 I disagreed and reminded I asked for final amount and paid the agreed final he tells me I cannot back out of the deal now I can pay the 39 or lose my 3500. Flabbergasted I reluctantly agreed as he have me 3 months with which to pay the full amount. On leaving the dealership the real reason to deny an extensive test drive becomes evident as once at normal operation temperature the car sputter and eventually stalls in mid drive (going over 65 rpm will us drop to 0 and car after a few tries will restart) on the busy turnpike. I cautiously drove home and a few days later had a licensed professional diagnose car at which point it was found that the check engine lightbulb was removed hence no visual alert to go with constant beeping the diagnostic device had 6 codes highlighted. I contacted Arion and was told after days of a run around they can only give a recommendation to a mechanic at my expense. The salesman confirmed that he would provide temporary tags until September or for as long as it took to get the hard tag available. I made my first installment in June. In July I visited the dealership for a temp tag as the had not processes my tag not tile and was advised by Mann he would not issue a temp tag as he does not have the time although the tag was expired said day. He said come back tomorrow. I got a ride refusing to drive with an expired tag and was verbally and almost physically assaulted by Manny for turning up with my boyfriend who was my only source of transport. He accused me of bringing reinforcement and I almost had to call the cops again I got no ta. I file a complaint the next day with the FLHSMV regional office and was made aware this company has had several complaints and was issued a temporary tag while waiting on the investigation I did not make the July payment for a tag and title that was never requested from the issuing agency within 2 weeks Arion Motors repossessed my vehicle even after being informed by the state that they cannot do so..............
